To keep my trousers from brushing the ground, I needed a high-heel boost. But I also wanted to be able to walk for blocks with a smile on my face. Normally, high heels make me wince. Well, after having slogged through rain in these (yes, they still look fine), I want to say, Go, Delirium! The comfort secret seems to be the pads on the sole, under the front of the foot. These also keep you from slipping on a wet sidewalk. I have square-ish, low-arched feet and found that my usual size fit perfectly. The somewhat rustic design of these shoes (stitching on the toe box) isn't exactly my heart's desire, but I do think they work just fine for business occasions.
