I bought this one because my old Ironman watch that I loved so much, had a short in it and it would reset all the time (it was old, so I do not hold it against Timex). I like this basic watch. I am only using the alarm, timer, 24-hour functions consistently so I cannot speak to the other functions, but this watch works - I even like the dual time zone and the Indiglo Night-Mode feature - you can push any button and the Indiglo will activate. I did not want to spend alot of money on a work watch, so I bought this one. I have owned Timex watches for well over 30 years and for the most part, they work well, without spending a whole bunch of money. Remember folks, it is only the time. I wish it had more than one alarm, but I guess I have to upgrade to a more expensive model. For the price, you get no arguments out of me!
UPDATE
It WAS a great watch until it broke me out. I wore it for one week, took it off and noticed a dark circle, where the back of the watch would sit. By the end of the second week, the spot had 3 small burns. So I called TIMEX and they told me that if you allergic to nickel, which I am, that could be causing the problem, and to put clear nail polish on the back, but wait until the area clears up first. I was a diehard TIMEX fan until now. I owned a TIMEX watch for over 30 years and they work well, without breaking the bank - it is only the time, for god sakes - and I never had a problem like this. The TIMEX rep said the stainless steels meets their standards, but they must have lowered their standards because this watch is hurting me and I never had a problem with them before. The watch is fine, but if you are allergic to nickel, buy something else. If I could I would lower the rate from 5 to 3.
