I was pleased to discover that these shoes have a mesh area that goes from the top, down the side, unerneath, and back up the other side of the shoe which makes them really breathable. It's underneath the black plastic side piece that looks like a boomerang. When it's really windy you can feel the breeze really well on your sock. Sweet DC's!
